WTF. How long did they drive it like that? More importantly how did they put them on backwards thinking that it was correct?

K-Mart letter: Someone got a hold of the old "things to do when you're bored" list. I swear I read a list of such things like 10+ yrs ago.

lol, it's a joke. This didn't happen to me. However I'm glad you posted in here. I have a buddy who's a Nigerian Prince, and I don't know if you're aware but that nation is basically in civil war right now. If you are willing to transfer some funds from his account to yours, then when he immigrates to the US return that money, he'll give you a healthy percentage of the funds, roughly $50,000. If you're interested PM me your SS#, routing and account number, and home address.

Herp Derp.

With the amount of stupid things people do to their cars, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if someone ACTUALLY put their brake pads in backwards.

it's a multi-axis lathe and since both parts are spinning in sync it does those crazy cuts..? the fork thing just blew my mind though.

The very first video shows you at the end in slow motion how it works. Both are spinning at the same rate in sync so every cutting head meets with the surface to be cut at the exact same time.

A way to think about it would be a single cutting head. The lathe would rotate the round bar to say 10 degrees for the cutting head to take a swipe at it. Next cut needed to be at 30 degrees so the lathe would rotate the round bar there and the cutting head takes another swipe at it. Exact process, only at like 3000rpm...
