Those 2 are local. They were at the track with us 2 weekends ago, they run in arca_ex's group, except hes in PS4 and is about 5 seconds faster.

I drove that 2 around Inde a couple months ago lol. They have a couple festivas also.

Yeah... the red Miata is in the class above me but runs way off the pace. There's usually nobody else in that class which is why she up classes the car to get uncontested first place trophies and collect season points for the "Overall Points Championship".

Funny thing is that she crashed that Festiva in the middle at Turn 1 on after the green flag in a qualifying race at the last event, didn't look salvageable to me. She is usually nice so I don't mind her, but at the last event she also accused me of cheating since my car is faster in a straight line than the red Miata and I was able to lap her in pretty much every 20 minute sprint race we had. I've never really bitched about it in a public space until now but I don't take being called a cheater very lightly. I was going to explain that the red Miata is very under prepped, that I have 10MPH more corner exit speed onto the straight, and that having no hard top and that jungle gym cage is a huge contributor to aero drag but held my tongue since I figured it would be lost on her.

Meanwhile, the red RX-7 passes both of you just on power with less corner exit speed.....

 

Yeah I saw the in car video and pics of that. It looks pretty bad but I think they're gonna try to straighten it out. They're doing a festiva track day in February and I'm planning on driving mine out there.




Sad to hear that they seem nice from the little time I've spent around them.

 

 

Would be interesting to see the video from that angle. In my video it looks like she just drove straight into the Firebird and caused a chain reaction.
