With a 5 speed, the act of committing the 3-4 shift ought to be done in as sexually-suggestive a manner as possible.
It's not quite 7am on a Sunday. I'm remotely logged into a couple of machines which always kind of scare me. Truth be told, I hate being in the position of "If I accidentally click on the wrong spot, we go off the air."
Helicopter lift of some new equipment to the top of Sears Tower coming up in about an hour. Prepping for RF shutdown. So very happy that I have the ability to do all of this in my pajamas, rather than schlepping my *** downtown as I know certain of my colleagues at other TV stations are doing right now.
Edit: holy cats. Just noticed that at the moment I hit PrtScrn, all three amplifier cabinets were in perfect sync and TPO was within 60 watts of nominal. That hardly ever happens.

I hate operating in this mode.
Also just noticed that the transmitter controller at Hancock Tower didn't roll forward on the time change. Which is weird, as it's supposed to be connected to an NTP server.
Zero percent chance that I'm gonna troubleshoot that right now.

I remember watching that a while back. Serious airmanship.
Looks like the bird is done:
Also, this guy is ******* baller. Pretty sure I'm looking at the highest human presently in existance who is not in an airplane or spacecraft.
(edit: relative to ground level)

Nope, they were just re-fueling.
And *BOOM* goes the dynamite. The east tower has now surpassed the height of the west tower, meaning that the world's tallest all-steel structure is now officially taller.
And I can't wait to turn the transmitter back on and radiate power into this bitch.
