Any of you gentlemen in the construction industry know what these are? They're on a huge job site where three new schools are being built.

Good2go has it (mostly) right. Those are foundation drills (not sure if that's what they are actually called). They bore a fairly large hole down to solid ground, and fill it with rebar and concrete. The foundation footers then rest on top of them.

Nashville Marathon was this past Saturday. High was 77°

Interesting. I assumed they were drills of some sort, but I couldn't figure out why they were drilling huge holes at the site of a school. Underground tunnels for the reptilians who control the education system, I assumed.
