Didn't think they used the Mosler name back then, just Consulier. Ugly as sin but fast as ****. If I remember correctly, the company co-sponsored some kind of track day with Car & Driver (back when C/D did some cool stuff) and basically challenged anyone to show up with a street-legal car that could beat their lap times. There were some NSX's, RX-7 R1's, maybe a 348, a C4 Corvette or two, and I'm pretty sure at least one Diablo and one F40. Nothing touched the Consulier.

Amazingly, it got even uglier when they went to a split front window. The new Mosler stuff is decent looking though.

And on that note, has anyone seen the magazine ads recently from Mosler? Basically, they are liquidating all their older showroom/test/museum cars, with prices ranging from something like $15k to $100k if I recall.
