Pictures I found in that thread. Claims to be a 2.5 STi motor and a Boxster. Is there a difference between the boxster and caymen? I don't keep up with the shittier Porsches..

 

The Caymen S is supposed to be a very good car, and yes there is a big difference between the Cayman and the Boxter.

I still can't figure out why. (Only on page 4 of the thread.)

One of them is a hardtop. Apart from that, nothing of consequence. Lots of trivial little trim differences, slightly different engine tune, same basic chassis.

 

Except..... The Cayman has 997 type headlights, where the boxster and 996 share the same lights:

 

The 05+ Boxter does not have the 996 headlights, behold:
