One more about the Miata accidents...

I had a look for some spare parts today and ran into this MX-5(Miata).
The pole made a nice little bulge in the back of the trunk! Means it ran right away through the car. The driving girls had some scratches on her jacket...
Apparently the radial forces of the hit send her to the middle of the car and she walked away unharmed... Another Miata driver in his second life I suppose..
(BTW the Miata is now the "Vlad Tepes Edition")

Negative. That's a Moto Guzzi. This is a CX500:

Note the watercooled cylinders and general air of being less randy Italian and more boring appliance.

It moved freely but I added more grease to it anyway.

I stayed up this morning and got an early start on pulling my dash. Had the dash out within 20 minutes (done it at least 5 times now) and started fixing my half assed, ghetto stereo wiring. Pulled all of that **** out, hopefully fixed a few rattles, secured some loose wiring from the harness, and cleaned up a bit. Then I made a panel to go over the fuel tank/pump, behind the seat. I didn't realize it would need a bulge, so the panel is kind of humped up and touching the top of the pump cover and hoses. **** it, I hate this car. It's a rattle trap, and needs too much work to get it into a condition that I could be happy with.

That's how I've felt recently. Just give me something reliable and comfortable. I'm tired of car drama.

That's not even your car. That's not even your accident. *****.

This is a miata under a tractor trailor, but if you keep your foot in in (blacked out, maybe?) you shoot out before it runs you over with the back wheels.

State Trooper: Where's the driver of this car?
Me: *raises hand*
State Trooper: No, the driver of THIS car?
Me: *raises hand further*
State Trooper: *incredulous look*

CLICK ON THE ******* THUMBNAIL!

So as you can see it was raining, I had the top up, but going under the truck F&F styleeee it was removed.

Change the subject to: Miata crashes I've been in

I know some racer-folk have been in some **** too...

I rolled my CRX when I was 18. Only got a literal scratch. Like the size of a papercut. And it didn't mess up the car too bad. Not streetable, but I sold it and its a racecar now
