They're very comfortable and keep you in place pretty damn well, but as said, they cost more. The project Miata in my garage has a pair of them. Too bad the car isn't mine.

I'm on my second set of Cobra Clubmans. They are not FIA approved, but they are decently priced, hold up to wear and tear, and don't feel half bad. If I ever get the ***** to go to the track, an Ultrashield is only another credit card debt away

am I the only one who doesn't use a credit card to buy parts? Holy crap, if I did I'd be thousands of dollars in debt.

The corbeau FX1 is pretty damned comfortable if you ask me. I've sat in all 3, the regular FX1, the Pro and the Wide. I'm husky (34-35" waste) and fit the pro nicely. I was swimming in the regular and the wide was like a couch lol. My friend daily drives his FX1s and they are holding up just fine.

Not FIA approved but so what. I'm not wheel to wheel racing so i'm really not worried about it. The harness is where not to cheap out.

I thought about the FX1 Pro. Still might do it. Pretty cheap like $300-350.

I've had these in my younger days. They felt decent around town, but killed my back on the 6-7 hour trips home from Ohio in the vette.
