I purchased an Intake Manifold in Arlington Texas to do some testing on my 99 Miata and now the guy is giving me the run about on shipping it to Canada.

Is anyone local able to pick it up, box it for me an ship it using my UPS account?

This is a last resort, but getting to this point... Great part is that he entered into a contract to ship at a certain price and now is flaking :(

 

ship it to me at mazmart, then give me your UPS account # and I'll send it to you (I have worldship software)

 

I live about 15 minutes from there. I'll help you out if you need it.

I'm going to New York with the GF on August 30 until September 2nd. I'm staying at a Best Western in New Jersey and I am going to have it shipped there the week prior.

Oh well.. It will work out!

 

Shipping international is a pain in the ***. I really can't blame the guy.

I ship to the US all the time with no issues.. I was quite surprised at the hassle he was giving me! I even found out he was a Canadian living in Texas!

 

OH...I know who it is now. He won't ship international, too many headaches from it. I used to ship stuff for him in my previous job. Oh, he is Canadian, but hates Canada. I normally stop by his house and see what is going on in his AWESOME garage. He has 2 SCCA GTA cars right now, just sold all his SMs, but kept his 2 ITA Miatas.

I tried calling him, but his # has been disconnected. I'm like 2 miles from his house, which might be where the manifold is, or it's at his company, which is where my wife works. Either way I can get it real easy and ship it to you. I ship international everyday, so I can definitely do it.

 

We are good.. He is gonna ship it to my hotel.. Nothing to worry about now!
