I was searching in my gmail for something this morning and I noticed how many different car forums I've registered on over the last few years -- literally dozens and dozens, most of them only visited once or twice. Usually what happened is that I was researching a potential purchase, and I'd sign up on some forum so that I could search for whatever information I was hoping to find. VW forums, Audi forums, Toyota forums, Nissan Frontier forums, Dodge Dakota forums, RX7 forums, Saab forums...I'm a registered member at more forums than I can remember.

 

I'm a member on the Rx7 forums and DSMTuners. Certainly not that many!

 

25+ for me about a dozen are local area and I check them for their classifieds only, I frequent 5 on a daily basis (this being one) and I post on them, the rest are either for cars I've owned,or cars that I work on regularly.

Im only registered on MT.net, M.net and rx7Club. 98% of the time im on this forum.

Some local ones, and i am on cr.... unfortunately here and m.net. Also saabnet.com and a dakota/durango one because i was going to buy one. Oh, and a Turbo Grand Prix one, because i own 1 of 1000 90 ste turbos. It is a total pos lol.

I had to write to Vbulletin to tell them to take out the birthday reminder feature. I had a **** ton of one line automated birthday wishes from a bunch of forums I dont even go to. it made me feel cheap.

 

I guess I've frequented something like 10 forums over the years. This one, m.net, a local skreet razin forum, avs forums, way back in the day i was on honda tech, rx7 and rx8 forums, a few more I can't recall. I've spent way too much time on forums that I could have spent doing something more useful. Probably 20k posts total since '01-'02 when I started posting in forums.

Daily, I only go here (just the BS section) and a Geo Metro forum. Once a month I peek into the MSM board and the pointy board but I don't hang around much and rarely post on them.
