Default Baltimoron Bastards!

I'm glad I asked for more pics before I decided to drive an hour to overpay for this low mileage 1990.

what they list with:

what they just sent:

and it's missing the radio, there's rust on the other side and the rear bumper is torn up....however they kindly edited that out of the pictures they list on cars.com and autotrader.com.

Like people who post pictures in personal ads from before they let themselves go, or were in highschool. "I've filled out a little since this picture was taken"

If the car was an MG I'd say it rusted between taking of the pictures.

the east coast has crazy high prices for miatas. this one was listed at 4799. if the body was rust free i would have offered 4k and sold the top for 800. i still would be paying more than i wanted, but it only has 80k on the body.

another one in richmond is asking 5900 for a 80k mile one with top....

Miatas are cheap here. I saw a white one with hardtop at a dealership yesterday, but it was pouring down rain so i couldn't stop to look at it. I can check it out tomorrow for you if you'd like.

The correct term is Baltimoron. As a former Baltimoron, yeah, prices suck. I spent way too much time finding mine, and it had issues I didn't see initially.

In hindsight, you can spot the rocker rust in the first picture. Perhaps they tried to patch it with bondo?

I'm very glad to be out of that crime-ridden, pothole-laden murder-fest.

i hate Baltimore with a passion. i dreaded the fact that i might have to drive up there and deal with thems people. I noticed the odd discoloring on the first pic and it's why i asked for better pictures emailed to me. It really looks like they photoshopped it because the rear bumper is free of it's chipped paint as well.

however, I'm going to look at another local one tomorrow. 93 with 90k, all stock, reasonable price....15mins from my house....so we'll see.
