doh! It was an automatic NA Miata with a rear caddy tail grafted on bumper, tail lights, fins everything. And last generation celica headlights to boot!

BTW: did I tell y'all I bought a truck. Turbo install to begin this weekend... starting with clutch and motor mounts.

I imagine all the VW Bug purists out there went through the same sort of **** when the interesting kit cars came out.

What pisses me off about a car like this is that someone spent either a lot of time or money on the project. Despite the choosen modifications the work looks to be top notch. Imagine how nice the car could have looked if the 'designer' wasn't sucking on a crack pipe. What a waste.
