Beer of the Day thread (and ci-derp)
How have I missed this thread for so long?!
We have 9 small breweries in the Huntsville area, and another ~10 within a couple hours drive. My close friends go to a brewery and dinner at least once a week.
Will commence reports.

And can we get some comments on the cappucino stout? Sounds up my alley. I'm stocking up on tasty new stuff for a wedding this weekend so keep it coming boys.
It is just too sweet for me (syrupy sweet) and left a sort of chemical (medicinal??) aftertaste that just kind of hung around even after a few pils to clean out the palate.

I got 9th place in a 5k today, 22:30. I'd be a lot faster if I changed my diet from cheeseburgers/ pizza/ BCAA/ Pre Workout, to salads/ fruits/ no breads/ no fatty greasy junk, but F*ck it, you gotta enjoy life.
It's 5:11pm and I just drank a bomber of Stone Enjoy by 7/4/15 IPA. I thought about hitting the jagermeister, but i don't wanna do shots and be hungover tomorrow, so I'm gonna drink my last 2 bottles of Great Lakes Chill Wave, then my last 2 bottles of Founders Devil Dancer.
What's the rest of MT.net drinking?
It's raining cats and dogs here, so it's a perfect beer drinking day.

Labatt's is pretty heavy / good for a generic. Beats bud/blight.
I'm at Brew Hub drinking a Bourbon barrel aged imperial red ale that is quite sweet and aromatic and belies its alcohol content.
They are building the next one of these places in St. Louis. It is a contract brewing company that brews for micro brewers for expansion into new markets geographically. And they make fun stuff for consumption onsite.

I picked up a 12 pack of rebel IPA in cans and a 6er of single wide for the rest of the weekend.

Single wide is pretty well-balanced IPA. I've been knocking back some pretty hoppy stuff lately, so something a little more relaxed is refreshing.

As a tip for anyone looking to expand a bit, anything from Firestone Walker, Green Flash, and Stone is generally kick-***.
Double Stout, Palate Wrecker, etc Everything I've tried from them has been awesome.
