Bros, I need to make my mind up on this van. Make decisions for me
Really? What'd you get? I got maybe 20 on the highway going pretty slow (55-60) in the very best of conditions (4 speed auto, M5's can be had). 18 highway is more accurate and ~13 city driving like a normal person, ~11 driving like I do.
Yup. the Jeep gets 16 mostly. 18 if I'm on long trips, and I actually broke 20 on my way to Myrtle Beach a couple years ago. Truck got 18 all day long, even when i honked on it. On trips, it'd do about 20.
Man, I loved that Dakota. Couldn't find another one anywhere, so settled for the Jeep. Big mistake.

This could be more fun

Or drift van

Or just go crazy

But I digress, I'd offset the van cost with free room to crash in and just bum showers from friends baller enough to have a room. But I'm willing to sleep in my garage if it had heat and a shower.

One of these days when I get a van to rock I am going to make sure it looks good. So it will be getting a kickass TMNT paint job with the huge wing/spoiler on the back.

I don't care to buy tools to work on a short bus. The beauty of the van, among other things, is the abundance of parts in junk yards.
FWIW I had a friend tow a miata, extra tranny, extra engine, misc parts, in a B2200/Ford Ranger.

It's a little modified for expedition use:
