If I ever see one of those on the road I will follow the owner to their destination, beat the **** out of that ugly wart of a car, then give the owner a ---- punt or sack smack.

Isn't the idea (totally lies btw) that prius are meant to be efficient and all that ****? Oh yea taking the top off does wonders for the drag, let alone the extra weight ontop of the ******* massive batteries and TWO motors! Yaaa Toyota, extra weight is great for economy, and batteries are eco friendly... just keep on telling yourself that.

GOD DAMMIT I HATE PRIUS. Toyota has lost all of its *****.

Right off a cliff!
But I do love Toyota, the smartest car manufacturer on the plante!!!
Think about it, treehuggers also happen to have money and only way they can show it is by driving expensive hybrids, $30K Prius voila.

It's a one off done by a different company, not a Toyota production model.

**** i send $100 a month on gas, I have no car payment.

I got a novel idea: I'll sell my car for $2k and buy a new prius for 30K at $350 a month.

Now I only pay $50 a month in gas. which is basically free for 40 months since i have a new reserve of $2000 cash. So basically buying a hybrid is like getting gas for free for 3 years.

If you can get a loan for $30K for $350 a month, I wanna know what bank you are going with.
That equals up to $21K on a 60 month loan.
Granted there are $21K new Priuses out there, but still, I want your bank

I did the math once while I worked for Toyota, it made more economic sense to buy a new 5spd Corolla (around $15K) than a base Prius (around $22K) even if the Prius did average 55mpg (which it does not with most people) for anything less than 7 years. We all know the average american consumer buy a new/er car every 2-3 years.

HAHAHa speedf50's reply made me laugh out loud. I think everyone here agrees that the prius sucks, but flaming it is fun.
