Testing cars and reviewing them as well as just ******* around is my dream job. I mean I guess its everyones dream job but do u think they went to like a school or had some type of internship or did they just get lucky as actors and get the job. Clarckson I believe was a race driver but wat about the other two on top gear?

there used to be this daytona superbird with airbag suspension, that would pull up behind jets, and then it's nose would drop down, and would chase after the jets down the runway, they used it as an emmisions tester for aircraft

None of them were ever race drivers. Especially Clarkson (he can't drive, as is repeatedly pointed out to him). He's always been an automotive journalist, and Hammond was a local public radio host. May was a journeyman, including motorcycle repairman.

Tiff from Fifth Gear was (still is?) a race car driver, not sure about the other hosts. It's clear to me the fifth gear hosts are better drivers but top gear is still the better show.
