i cant for the life of me tell what is going on. I see a few blurry headlights and hear a motor.
Ok, watched it again, then checked out the other video in ur album. From a roll you were pulling on him pretty well, and Im surprised you did so well from a dig, did he launch very well? I have like 6 friends with subbies and we go out into the boonies at night sometimes and race for a while. I told em I will beat em with my miata one of these days lol. The fastest one is an STi that was dynotuned with a turboback exhaust.
Great to see your car on the road man, are your fenders and hood missing? That will really really slow you down at basically any speed

hah yep no fenders or hood. never took him from a dig, the other vid was was i think from a 40 roll. i brake tq'd it a little (as if i needed to with this tiny turbo) and shot out a little. but our cars are dead even.
coming back from the dyno on saturday i raced a mr2 that just put down 287 whp and got 2 cars on him from a dig to 110. the dyno that day read his car at 205 (same dyno i tuned on) so the dyno was crap. they just bought it and havnt messed with it much. dyno'ing again this weekend but on a dyno jet and should get correct numbers this time.

complete. turbo is maxed out. its right in its efficiecy range. i could milk another 10-15 out of it but you have to look at deminishing returns. i was thinking of maybe going to a larger turbine and then porting it and maybe running an external w/g i could probly get that 10-15 extra whp out of it and still be in its efficiency. but i am done engine wise, now time to finish up the body. and suspension.

my idle would pop alot, recently found out it was just my base timing. so they worked fine to the best of my knowledge, just had some rc's laying around that i was going to try.
had the base timing at 28* and had the ms make up for it, but now i got the base timing set at 10 and re did the ms timing to make up for it and now it idles rock solid. oh well, when you got the parts you try em out. just heard some honda guys saying the supra 440's somtimes do that but i guess they were working for me. just had that issue from the timing
thx

yeah, i dont know, i had these injectors just sitting around. my idle is fine, its on the rich side, but its solid and its smooth. i have some 550's also, but i think its going to be a long time before i max these things out. here's a little sumtin sumtin of my 90 miata 0-75mph i obviously babied it out off the line. this was on my stock diff. it has blown apart since this video was made. oh yeah, this was either 10 or 13psi. i'm guessing its more like 13.

i dynoed 175 whp on a dyno jet last weekend but then a 287 whp mr2 dyno'd at 205 so that dyno is crap. if i correct ratio wise i should be looking at about 205-210 i think at 1920 pounds dry no driver. and looking at my race with the subbie that also solidifies my thoughts on being 205-210 looking at power to weight ratios. but i cant say it unless i have the numbers eh?
dyno attempt number 2 this weekend and an 1/8th mile run. and an autox and a mountain run. haha looots of action this weekend

mxv, hahaha, sounds like you got a fun weekend there lined up. i'm going to attempt at losing the barn doors today. since i dont have the factory turn signals anymore, i might as well throw some lights in there. i'm sure you'll pull some good numbers on the dyno and such. i wish i could dyno my car, i just dont really have the money. it all went into my damn car. my car wont get to 19XX lbs easily, since my whole drivetrain is 1.8 and i have the roll bar too. the best i could muster out was 2160 somewhat gutted with 1/2 a tank of gas. ofcourse that was without me in it. anyhow, good luck this weekend smoke some wrx, and dont break anything but traction. see ya.
