Hardest part was cleaning off the ceiling. Amazing how just a little air moving makes it so much more comfortable out there.

Best part? Wife is all happy now.

Was that a fan box to begin with? If not, might want to figure out if it at least has the outriggers, that usually puts the weight cap high enough to deal with a small fan.

If it doesn't have outriggers and it's a fan box, that's a bad idea.

It is rated for 35# fan, which is what the fan instructions require. Fan is actually just a tick over 20 pounds.
You can't see from the picture, but the box is nailed and screwed into a 2x6. It's solid.

I used longer screws than the light was mounted with, just because. It ain't going anywhere.

Fans are dead silent, and no vibration at all.

Cool. I like it, i'm going to put some sort of paneling and lighting up in my porch probably next spring. The sea of white looks clean.

That bead board is vinyl. Cleans up easily, and no painting, ever.
