I'm going to throw out a wild guess and say it was over heating due to lack of air flow and high RPM

 

it look like you speeded the video up a bit...

 

not sped up, it was recorded at 60 fps if it makes a difference. The light was coolant temp, One of the rads was messed up and it got up to 220 degrees.

 

Now that looks like a lot of fun! Envy!
