Chinese turbo manufacturers must not think too much of their products...

Well they do have them on Ebay... I just haven't tested one... if it's just to hold you over, you might as well be a guinea pig.

when I get to the point I need a larger turbo (probably this summer) I'll likely go the china charger route myself. they are hard to beat for the cash.

Yep, buddy of mine has one running right now on his track only Miata. It's a 57trim and he does numerous track days/drift events/autocrosses and hasn't failed him yet. Like MarkP said, I'm sure there are bad ones, but from what I have seen, they are pretty damn good for the money....

Ok, this is wrong, but have you thought about making a 1/2 steel adapter plate, and running a ghettocharger? I bet you could buy the 1/2 steel plate from a scrap yard for like $2.00 and some studs and be done with it.

Is $260 all that much though?

There is one up there for $180 but the sucker has 0 feedback.

Mark is there a difference between a ghettocharger and a chinacharger?

Check it out, even Borgwarner KKK knock-offs are available:

Well the original ghettocharger was a T3S60 Garrett, which was replaced by the chinacharger. Basically an evolution in ghettocharging.

Oh you mean on your setup. Gotcha. I thought it was sort of a generic term for some type of turbo.
