Thats cool man, great looking car and you've likely come a LONG way from stock for a 90!

I must say. If my car was silver, It would probably come out lookin like yours. Love how it looks. I too have spent A lot on the car. probably somethin like 7k worth of suspension parts, I/H/E, exterior, interior, JRSC and drivetrain goodies. I wouldn't call our cars a money trap, but they are fun to spend money on and it can add up quick.

Heh, erm. hah. I don't total mine anymore. It makes my head hurt.

I've got about 4x what I originally paid for the car into it.

Ya, that's why I think it's time to upgrade to something a little bigger. I have sank way too much money into my miata.

Mark it's time to ENJOY your "investment" now that it's done, not pour money into a different pit.

I'm at ~$4k, including the car itself. Check my vB garage to decide for yourselves if I've done alright for my money.

Uh, I paid 4k for it originally, probably put just about as much in the turbo/engine, and still have more coming. It never really stops....

What hurts the most is the day you decide to sell and only get about 1/4 of what you put into it back.

bought for 5grand, put about another 5 grand into it, now putting another 10grand into it...but you do get some money back for selling the old parts, but your always going to be in the hole and when you sell you will never get that money back

yeah, i try not to think about it. lol. For the most part, i think i've come off pretty good. The biggest help was that i bought the car with the greddy kit already installed for about $1000. But add up all the money it's taken to do it properly, and I'm well up there.

Just for fun, I'm going to try to list here and see how i come out at the end:

1100 - Car with greddy kit
750 - mspnp
140 - 550cc injectors
800 - 6uls
400 - rs2's
225 - AEM wideband
140 - prosport gauges
300 - overall cost of redoing the intercooler setup including ic and new pipes
400 - hdhcddht rollbar with leather pad (used. pretty good deal imho)
325 - act xt clutch (i think. something like that)
50 - new flywheel
100 - timing belt, and misc seals, gaskets, and hoses.
90 - Walbro 190lphhp
100 - Tein S-tech
350 - Tokico Illuminas
100 - FCM stops (i'm going off of bad memory for the last three)
160 - Godspeed radiator (still haven't gotten it in. i should probably call, now that i think about it. heh.)
200 - Turbo tony dp

And yeah, there's probably a ton of crap i'm forgetting. It's an expensive hobby, but it's fun.
