Default Clutchnet is pissing me off

Normally I don't put bad reports of places up until the problem has been solved. That way the whole story gets out if they helped me out or not in the end.

Along comes clutchnet. I sent back my clutch/pp/bearing box back to them about 3 weeks ago. I called Igor to let him know it was coming and then even e-mailed him. I have been calling about once a week and it's always "I will go check the boxes". Never calls me back.

I called today to find out Igor is out of town for 3 weeks. I understand people leave and all, but he knew about my problem for a while before he left. The guy I talked to on the phone said there is only one other person who can give me a refund and he comes in on Monday. I'll give them a call then and hope they work things out.

Anyone else ever have to go through this? It shouldn't take this long to do a return. I really just hope I get my money back for the parts I sent them because I REALLY need a new clutch.

So you sent it over three weeks ago and he claims it's still not there? Then goes on a 3 week vacation? That doesn't seem like it's very good customer service at all. Was there something wrong with it or did you just decide on another clutch?

He didn't say it wasn't there. He just hasn't looked. It has to be there, I'm guessing he just doesn't take care of it. I sent it back because the PP doesn't work with the clutch. If you search you can find the info.

knock on wood....I haven't had any problems with the clutchnet gear yet. I hope it stays that way...Seems to hold my 14psi just fine.

No excuse for the service, but when return shipping stuff, use get some kind service that has proof it was delivered. I almost always use Fedex ground and for that I automatically get $150 insurance and signed delivery service with online tracking.

I'd just like to point out that I told all of you that clutchnet sucked. Their products didn't fit or work together, then they refused to refund the money...but you all still ordered **** from them. Listen to your father next time, never forget this. They were a piece of **** company 10 years ago just as much as they are today.

When I returned mine I periodically checked up on the package's tracking info.

After I saw it arrived, I called to verify they got it. Spoke to Igor, he verified it had arrived.

A week later, still no refund. Called, spoke to Igor, he told me he didn't realize that it had arrived. Um, but he SAW IT a week ago when I called.

Whatever. Got my refund, used it toward an xtss from act. To hell with clutchnet.

I did make sure to get receiving proof with the shipping. Your right Hustler, you did say that. I figured they would be selling a bunch of the same clutch, how could they screw it up? Well, learned my lesson.

mine works, but I can't really say I'm happy with it. it feels like shudders like hell and the lock-up is terribly inconsistent.

I'll never buy from them again.

mine shudders too and I babied it for the first 700 miles or so. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll probably need a new clutch in the not too distant future.
