Following from the link above some surrounding current threads there:
Dumb or playing dumb?? Does he really think that Megasquirt in "piggyback" mode just extends the stock ECU injector pulses and thus praying on the stock ECU not to pull off some strange case? That stuff he posts just reveals how much he knows about cars and engine control modules or either posted on purpose and very misleading ...

Ben91, who promotes the Megasquirt so heavily, says over and over that a full ECU is the ONLY way to go. Piggybacks just don't hack it. Then, when someone mentions OBD2 and CARB, the answer is (Paraphrased) 'well, you can use the MS in piggyback mode'.

I think there is more. IIRC some months ago Tom posted that he found the stock 1.6 AFM being quite restrictive for the MP62 kit. IIRC then had some posts about they retrofitted a RX-7 AFM or something (going here just by memory)
And today his test monkey (he called himself that) whose car was going to the dyno posted this:

I would never trust a guy to work, tune or install anything on my car if I knew his background was playing with yo-yo's.

Following that link above to the surrounding new threads at the FFS board. A post there from couple of hours ago about mnet:
Time passes (2 hours?), then post #5:

So, looks like mnet got fixed to comply with his standards in 2 hours ...
What is he doing at mnet now if according to his board it's probably the worst place on Earth ...

For the record, I have absoultely NO PROBLEM with a PC-Pro controller, it seems like it would be very effective when used correctly. Just like the voodoo box. I'm just absolutely not confident (and I think the data supports this) that the PC-P should never be used on miatas making over 160-170 whp-depending on injector size.
