He also owned a D-type which is what I think it is... but you're right, it could be the XK-SS as well. I'd need to see it from a little further back to be certain.

We're both basically right since the XK-SS was a D-type variant.

Edit: you're right, it's the XK-SS... I missed the wipers/full windshield, only XK-SS had those.

Ok Andrew... you win. The only thing that would make it better is if it's running on used McDonalds fryer oil... for that McFries smell as he drifts past.

Hey, it's my thread, in my forum.

Go ahead and substitute "Sean Connery" or "Pierce Brosnan" in place of "Roger Moore" if you wish.

I have the same problem here as I do with Ben Affleck as Jack Ryan. Ryan isn't supposed to be a jarhead superhero who solves every problem by smashing things; he's a weasel- a shifty little bookworm who, despite a USMC commission, wound up teaching history and bilking the stock market on insider information. Alec Baldwin is Jack Ryan.

It's not that I don't like Craig as an actor, it's just that he's not James Bond. James Bond is a cavalier playboy who is reserved in his killing and treats women as a fungible commodity. Granted, there is a dark side to Bond, which Dalton's portrayal brought to light in a man who drinks to quiet the ghosts he has wrought. But Craig, well, he's just far too one-dimensional. There's no charm, no wit, no light-heartedness, just a gritty, angry man who seems to feel nothing at all.

This is the car that got me into turbochargers. I used to watch this every day while putting my car through it's overhaul.

Here is a link to the original video on streetfire, nearly one million views: Brutal Volvo 740 Turbo

That's a 1970... I had one. '71's are way bigger. Excellent taste though!

It's an awesome piece of engineering, don't get me wrong. I'm sure it's probably wonderful to drive. But while the Dodge Viper and the Porsche GT3 merely announce to the world "I have a small *****", the Gumpert Apollo says "I was a band geek in high school, I wrote my doctoral thesis on Applications of Kinesin Motor Proteins and Microtubule Filaments, AND I have a small *****."

LOL...I used to room with this guy...he's in his second year of grad school, and I swear he was telling me about this the other day.

I should forward him the pic so he knows what to buy.

I was a band geek in high school, my doctoral thesis concerned the regulation of angiogenesis during prostate cancer progression by fibroblast growth factors and their receptors, I have a pretty decent sized ******* if I do say so myself, I drive a Miata, and given enough money would probably buy something other than a Gumpert Apollo.
True story bro.

And really, if you own a Gumpert Apollo, you have some cash on hand. Do you really need a big dick?

Recent studies show that women prefer 6 1/2" to 7"

I figure if I have a million dollor car, that should add at least 3"
