i remember back in the mid 90s when people started doing them via IRC. pretty impressive by 1995 standards. you could be sitting there chatting away and then your **** reboots or whatever.

 

I personally like (not like, but think was interesting) back when there was a group hitting MPAA and RIAA sites. THey would set up pages that would reload over and over all images and large bandwidth data. You get a couple thousand people reloading the website without caching anything for a day or two and not only are they having to pay for that bandwidth, but a lot of times it over loads the servers too.

Theyve been getting an *** load of spamers lately so I know that was done before the stupididty that just ensued.

 

If I remember correctly, havent they ignored scammer ******** several times on there? Not really sure why youre all suprized that instead of banning, they give the guy a reward.

 

Assinine behavior will always amaze me. Unless Tim and Noah are harassed hardcore, this will be pushed under the rug like every other time somthing with this ******* has happened.

 

I encourage everyone to send legitimate PMs to Tim explaining how this is outrageous. If he gets enough intelligent PMs explaining why it is unacceptable that Noah is even still a member there then some good might come of this. I know that won't get Jared his $2k back, but I'm sure it will do a little to make him feel better about the whole situation.

Probably just wishful thinking though.

 

Someone should scam one of those ******* and return the favor.

Cliff notes: Guy scams another member. The whole board attacks the scammer and even post pictures from school, phone numbers, SSN, address, photos of his house, his parent's names, address, and phone number.
