Exactly how is being called the country your from a race? I know it's easy to insert Mexican in , but it's still not a "race". Are Canadians a race? Americans? British?
Now if you used something like "damn Spaniards", it would be racist. Just because they're from Mexico doesn't mean their a race.

Hispanic is an ethnicity. Black and White are races. You can have Hispanic Blacks (e.g. Many Puerto Ricans and Mexicans) and Hispanic Whites (e.g. Many Cubans, Chileans, and Argentineans)

wow, that might be one thing from WIKI i don't agree with at all. Saying 'Hispanic black' for people from Mexico and Puerto Rico , yet 'Hispanic-White is "being those who report ancestry from the people of Spain or Spanish-speaking Latin America"? Then where did the Hispanic Blacks come from? Hawaii? What other Spanish origin is there other than Spain?

Hispanic is an ethnicity.. but if you are from Mexico are you not still a Mexican? I guess the correct term would be Hispanic American just like Asian American or African american
