I kind of agree with the guy.

There are so many old rusted out piles of **** on craigslist/autotrader/ebay/classifiedwebboards with ******** wanting WAY too ******* much money for them. My buddy just bought his wife a 2000 honda civic and spent like $7900 on it... Really? 8k for a 11 year old car that was 15k new??? "Oh but its a honda.." so ******* what? Its still 11 years old. . .


Yeah the guys a dick, but I see where hes coming from.

I pick up and resell miatas ect when i get the chance. I ran across a 92 today red hit in the front torn top 177k.
This guy goes into pitchman mode limited edition wood interior ect... he starts telling me the stock wheels go for a thousand dollars apeice online and all four tires were shot the hardtop was 2 grand ect...after market exhaust hood fenders. from the looks he was. his story was he was going to put a 350 into buy didnt have the money. he would let me have it today for $4500.00

i stepped backed looked at front end damage ect... told him sport package wasnt worth anything he had about 3000.00 in damage into a 92 miata with 177k miles id give him 1500.00. then he went into wheels are worth more than that ect... left my number if he changes his mind. I truely hope someone doesnt get suckerd into it at that price

Guy is a dick, but there are alot of people selling piles of crap and want 3k for a used up car that needs 1k worth of parts before its safe to drive.

I saw that ad and lol'd... Good luck, even if someone was willing to give someone a deal on a miata, its not going to be to someone w/ that attitude. Who knows though, maybe its worth listing a WTB ad like that (less dickish though) don't get what you don't ask for... But you also have to remember that craigslist attracts cheap-*** ppl though, and anybody that wasn't worried about getting the last $20 out of a miata wouldn't be selling it there

It also attracts people looking to sell their **** quick. I got a 95 for 1300, 1 bent wheel. Then I got a 96 for 1000, needed a top (window was wrecked)

Both of those were by people who didn't care at all about getting the most moneiesess, they just wanted a bit of cash and to be rid of their old ****.

Thing is, I replied to each of those ads only a few minutes after being posted, told them I had cash and could deal today. You have to do your part too.

Douchey sellers are douchey sellers, and they probably douched up the car they are selling too.

Douchey buyers who insult potential sellers and aren't willing to do any work get what they get.
