BBS 15" Merlot M Edition Wheels
For sale are FOUR 15" BBS Miata Merlot M Edition aluminum wheels in excellent condition. They fit fine on Miata from 1990 - 2002
Included are 4 center BBS caps and cap removal tool and Miata logo valve stem caps.
The Manufacture's list price is $1,119 each, new... But they are no longer new.
They are light: 12 pounds
They are round (just removed 4 of them from my 2000 SE Miata) they drove PERFECT!
They are classy
They are in great shape
They are ready for you.
Why are they for sale? I sold my 2000SE Miata to someone who wanted the original wheels reinstalled. (I had been selling them separate.)

This would be my neighbor's new 72 240z.
He is second owner.
23,000 miles.
He had been talking to the owner, had decided not to buy it, and his wife bought it for him for Valentines Day. We should all be so lucky. (Ahem, not that we're not lucky already!)
Car still has the original tires.
It is freaking fabulous.
He has become, somewhat by accident by his own admission, a collector. He has a pair of 70's BMW 3 series which are very nice, a yellow TR6 which is very nice, and now this princess. Garage 3.0 will have room for a 240z.

God DAMN thats clean.
I have a soft spot for Z cars. My first car was supposed to be a 240z, my dad picked it up when I was about 14. It needed a little mechanical TLC but otherwise it was in pretty great shape. We would start it every couple months or so and it sat in the yard ...until a tree fell on it.

Signs taped to telephone poles, the sides of mailboxes, etc., are basically the analog version of Craigslist, right?
This is a sign I saw this morning at the corner of 42nd & 3rd, advertising a reward of $10,000 for finding a lost dog:
It was taped to the side of this traffic light control box:
Now, normally I'd use a phrase like "they must be insane" to describe the act of offering three months' rent in exchange for a lost dog. On introspection, however, I realize that people who are insane tend, for the most part, not to be employed in such a capacity as to be able to offer said reward in the first place. I assume, therefore, that any person who actually responds to said poster and leads the owner to the dog will promptly be killed and fed to the animal.
