What is the fainting goat:jet ski ratio these days? I've apparently been out of the game for too long.

You can buy fainting goats for a few hundred, at least in OK you can.

Finally changed the oil in the silver wagon last night. It'd been weeks since I'd driven it.

Getting to work and back in the 335 was making me soft.

Hoping to order a lift for the shop today and then plausibly starting the black wagon build up.

Just finished an 05 Sti. Stage2 on terrible CA 91oct. This is about as conservative as it gets, due to him running an uber restrictive HKS non-bellmouth downpipe (garbage)

Wow. I keep forgetting how bad CA gas is. Thats 40ftlbs less and only 30hp more than I did on a mustang dyno with a td04. :(

My VD plots read same as current calibration mustang dyno, I've compared many times.
And this is ultra conservative, usually 290/300 is about normal.

But yeah, our non-e85 fuel sucks here :(

Finally went to the dealer to get the airbag recall done and I'm having severe anxiety about anyone besides me wrenching on my car. I wrote down the mileage and praying they don't go for a joyride on the many long and empty streets around there.

The porter was an old lady who stalled my car so...at least she won't be going anywhere with it

Last week we sold our legacy. I will not miss it, at all. Of course in one last attempt to frustrate me, it's battery died about a week before that. So I threw the STi battery into it and took the opportunity to get something lighter for the STi.

Last night I ordered an Oddysey PC680
Amazon Amazon

According to MT 1337 crew it should be good, but I was really nervous ordering it since CCA is so low vs stock. I hope I don't regret the decision later, this is my 1st time getting a tiny battery vs just another stocker. 15lb vs 43lb on the very nose of the car is a pretty big difference though.

The more I drive it and look at it, I think the STI scoop is growing on me. Honestly I'm just glad I found one in the OEM color. Car actually looks halfway decent in all the broken sunlight reflections too

that is one tiny battery. let us know how it goes, my battery is almost 6 years old so I might be looking for one soon.
EDIT: Why is that battery not for sale on catalina island lol

I love the STI scoop, always have. Its so big and obnoxious.

found a front lip from a local company for 50 bucks, seems about as strong as the r pkg lip on the miata. flexible and doesn't seem like it would break unless I **** up.
gimmicky instagram picture angle incoming

I don't think so. Maybe with some serious modification lol

No, they're the 18x8.5s from a '16-'17 STI. The fitment on the inside is...tight.
I hate 95% of the aftermarket wheel options for this car but these were exactly the type of wheel I was looking for.

More posting about what to get to replace the BRZ, and less about silly hood scoops.

Oh did you not see the other thread?

BRZ is gone. Replaced with '13 135i, White over Coral red leather, M Sport Package, DCT, HK stereo, etc etc etc etc. Drove from OKC to Indy and back last week to trade in the BRZ. 1500+ miles in 33 hours.

Evolution Racewerks oil cooler and SSR DCT pan with increased capacity are first on the list to address cooling for HPDE.

Next week I'm taking the car in for an oil change to AMSOIL, brake fluid flush with RBF600, Power steering flush, new plugs.

Very nice

I hear with a tune alone, those things can be very quick.
