Default Delaware dyno this monday

I am finally ready to dyno my car. Made arrangements with ACA Performance for Monday the 31st. Gonna show up around 10am with a few friends. At least 3 cars. Rate for the 3 is $65/per for 3 pulls. I'd imagine the rate goes down if there are more cars so if anyone is interested let me know.

Planning on hitting the indoor carting afterward too.

Paul (9:37:24 PM): am i correct in guessing you don't want to go to MD to help someone finish his turbo so he can dyno with us Monday?
Jes (9:37:41 PM): that is correct

you need to make a downpipe to install the turbo or you mean after you want to make a better one? the only thing i know about welding is go to Tim.

You should massage that wastegate tomorrow paul. And by wastegate I don't mean jes, i mean the 2560.

So I didn't blow up the motor today. I did get my minimum boost pressure down to 12psi with no boost controller. set the EBC to make 14psi.

At 14 psi the car made 271hp and 235 ft/lbs. i'll be posting the charts once i figure out what software i need to read the files

very nice paul. what are your duty cycles with the 460's? and isn't that turbo just about maxed out?

Awesome numbers Paul! And you were worried about quick spool, I think it's time to swap in Tim's GT2871!

Damn straight.

But after seeing how much metal(or how little was possible, actually) I had to remove from his GT2554 internal WG to get the boost down to where it is, I don't know if boost creep would be an issue on that turbo. The wastegate hole in the turbine housing is the same size on those two turbos.

Very good job though (except for that dip between 4000-4500rpm)! What's the highest anyone's made with the 2560 on a dynojet?

What's your fuel pressure? Turn it up a little...?

Oh and that 271/235 is on the stock clutch, right?
