Default DIY fuel injector cleaning kit

Anyone tried something like this?:

So it's 150 and then you see this:
This is a nice well built unit but it doesn't come with a single adapter to hook it up. The Mityvac adapter kit MVA565 is an additional $130. Be sure to factor that in when buying.
and then you consider that most of us would use one once, maybe twice, ever, and your typical injector service at the popular places is 15-20/injector, and It's hard to talk yourself into getting it.

Certainly would not buy something like that when a 9v battery, some alligator clips, some fuel line, and a syringe could be had for around 10 bucks. Pick your own poison for as to what to use for a cleaning agent. I tried this a long time ago, who knows if it made a difference, but it was kind of fun.

The peace of mind that would come with having a professional service test or "flow" the injectors after cleaning would be worth the extra money and time to me. In a pinch, I might consider a diy "redneck" method.
