I have a local guy that does anodizing any idea how much this will effect efficiency if at all?

 

Straight-cut "tip" (3" Enthuza), shiny FMIC, loud BOV, GV lip..

Hiding it would be too much work.

 

I forgot, I should post this for completeness. Hugh Jass muffler on my 3" exhaust with a 3.5" single wall slant cut tip. Painted (yes that's right folks) black.

There was a guy running around here with and old 80's Dodge Omni GLH that was making some where over 300 whp that had cut out the center three feet of his front bumper and replaced it with a painted air to air intercooler. From a distance you would never know it. Nice sleeper.

I had a VW 1.8T badge when I first installed the turbo. I have since removed it and prefer the stealth look. It is just too much fun when people see how fast a girly car can be.

 

Both of which could be totally legal.

My I/C looks like a radiator unless you notice the pipes coming out the bottom of it. I've got blue A/F and boost gauges mounted on the A-pillar and a Forge VTA BOV. Nobody ever tries to race me. I guess people just assume I'm slow.

Sleeper as far as the turbo, but the car has to be MAN'ed UP. I have to put rims, roll bar and some paint. I like clean and questionable.

 

LOL...LOL Only seen 1 miata on it's roof..It was NA and some kid (under 40) was driving...

IIRC there is only a 7% chance of rolling...

 

We're always in the mood to pick on some of the citys 11tybillion ricers in the S/C car.. I'll be damned if right after we got the charger installed, the next 5 hondas we encountered were high power boosted cars that looked like ******* trash. Anymore I don't even pay attention to whats around in traffic because either way its really just a waste of time. Its either dog **** slow or they've got a turbo bigger than their aznmohawk..

Then you run into the little tool bags with the scions and their aftermarket turbo setups.. I've yet to see one of those that could beat my stock MSM. One kid spent almost 6800$ turbocharging his toyota corolla coupe (tc scion) and runs like 14.8@79mph. Impressive.

 

Powerblock on Spike TV had a special on certain paints that help reflect and despenses heat. They said there are a few aftermarket companies that paint the underside of V8 intakes white to reflect heat, and the top black cause it despenses heat more evenly. It is probably BS. But you should be able to watch it on line if curious.

I don't think it will matter either way. If you want it black I would paint it. My brother wants to paint his black one silver so it can be seen. Lol

 

I go right down the middle. Big fat shiny intercooler, loud BOV, and Miataturbo.net stickers in the quarter windows, but a straight-cut non-polished 3" tip at the back.

OK, that settles it, new project... flat black the IC and muffler.
I'm headed to Florida this weekend for family ****... but when I get back, it's stealth time. And it's time for the MBC to go on until I get the EBC working.

 

What about that farking HUGE exhaust tip? Is that a full system size?
