My miata on the other hand are quite often pushed to the raged edge. Bellow are a few pics of a scary ride we (I was the passenger) where lucky enough to drive away from, with only minor suspension and body damage.

We entered this 90 degree left hander a tad too fast and to close to the shoulder.

Coming out of the curve we had a small amount of over steer, allowing the right rear wheal to leave the road.

When the tire left the road, the car snapped around faster then a cat can lick its ***. The car then came back across the road sideways, striking the ditch broadside. This was very close to being a roll over, and convinced me that if you are going to play hard, you need all the protection you can get. My present car has a boss frog double hoop max roll bar, and a 5 point harness that I wear every time my *** is in the seat.

I agree with the safety devices you put in. Too bad there aren't any roads around here like that :(

Driving 10/10th on public roads is retarded. Sure you have all sorts of safety gear, but what about the soccer mom driving on the same stretch of road.

Go play where it is safe.

If you live in a world of stereotypes then sure. Doesn't change the fact that you drive like an *** where you shouldn't be. I'll side with soccer mom over wanna be racer.

Yes, but for the kids sake not the stupid soccer mom, do your part to keep it safe. I agree with you, don't get me wrong. Bitch ran a red light in a Z71 yesterday, came 6' from T-boning me. Only reason they didn't hit me was because at the last second, I glanced to make sure nobody was coming before i finished turning onto the HIGHWAY when that bitch drove by on there cell phone, straight through a red light. I then followed them to where they were going, and told them to shove that cell phone up there *** and pay attention, he could have killed me or anybody because of carelessness. I hounded them and I think they were truely sorry, but that dosn't matter, I'd be dead or in a hospital right now if I hadn't looked over my shoulder in the middle of that intersection.

I won’t deny that I drive aggressively on the road, but that does not mean I am not a safe driver. I push the car in places that I won’t endanger other people. I push my car on roads that I know like my own skin, places I can push hard, and have room for a runoff. Never on a blind curve where there might be oncoming traffic, why you might ask? That soccer mom, not for fear that I will loose it in front of her, but the fact she will cross the center line and hit me. I can tell you one thing that is fact the times I have had to eat shoulder or even ditch to avoid that soccer mom coming around a corner in my lane, compared to the number of times I have caused another driver to make adjustments due to me crossing into his lane are 500-1 you might have missed the part about me being the passenger in those photos.

The real tragedy in that is the stupid ***** wouldn't have hardly even received a traffic ticket for killing someone because they can't ******* pay attention.

The week I got my car running again our local club went on a drive up north to a wine tasting (yes, I Know.. lol.) with about 7 total cars. So were driving on this 2 lane highway through the country when some ******* in an SUV turns out infront of me. Then they proceed to drive 40mph on a 65mph highway. Thanks. So traffic oncoming is light, I backed off after following behind them for a while, went to fourth gear and picked up some speed, signaled, moved into oncoming when the driver of the SUV decided to jump on the throttle.. By this time, theres traffic coming, so I made a move like I was going to swerve into the side of them, they braked, I moved over. Almost ended up hitting someone head on because they wanted to play a ******* game!

There was one person behind me in the club, and they tried the same **** again when they moved into oncoming, so I locked up my brakes as did the SUV, downshifted and reaccelerated letting the car infront of me. Wouldn't you know, they were going to the same place we were. That turned into a huge verbal confrontation, and come to find out the douche bag driver had been drinking already! Stumbled out of their truck with a can of beer in his hand talking **** like hes ready to fight. One of our members had already been inside telling the owner they were drunk and tried to run us off the road, they told the drunk bastards the police were on their way and it'd be wise to leave their property.

Playing with my life like that isn't a joke, and I wanted to shoot the *******. You don't even have to do anything wrong, or drive like a 'racer' for some of these jerkoffs to go, "oh, look at this little piece of ****..." and think its funny.

Boy, that is shockingly similar to my little turnaround early last year during a group run. Came too hot into a tight right-left and was trail braking. Car started to spin right, I over-corrected, started to spin left (now headed for a sizable embankment) over-corrected again and spun 180°, exiting the road backwards off the right side, where some small tress & bushes stopped me.

I have never in my whole life wished more that I had a cockpit camera than that moment! But Abe took a few pics after the fact. (naysayers, note that this road is in fact in the middle of absolutely nowhere.)

Here, I'd have been coming towards the camera backwards. That's the embankment I really didn't want to hit:

Exit stage right:

Nice trees. (that road below is further down than it looks)

The extent of the damage:

Note. Those tires (above) and these shocks and this swaybar (below) are no longer on the car!.

Getting back on topic, this is the extent of the advertising. (the oil cooler is no longer there)

Is this kinda stealthy? I hide behind the "oh thats just another 'pretty' car" theme (or maybe even blending in with ricers to the ignorant population)

I did pick the bumper for function though, i get to retain my fog lights and increase the volume of cool air for the intercooler.

And then i have a small turbo emblem and a decent exhaust

Yeah, i'll flop it around when i get the bumper off one of these days to make a chin protector to keep the glass from getting too scraped up.

Come to think of it, i could probably use some aircraft remover and a toothbrush and just clean it off.

It's funny, my initials are MF and everyone at my work keeps thinking the FM is just my initials backwards lol.
