Does anybody else gets yelled at when running/cycling outside?
The warmer weather is kicking in and finally can go out and go for a good jog and catch some freah air. All of a sudden I get all these tards screaming, bla bla... Its not as if I am running with pink lycra shorts 2 sizes smaller, wannabe or simply a douche. I go out and have the usual "normal" workout shots shirt and maybe an ipod to keep the morale up.
Still, its freakin annoying the amount of douche women and men who scream be it waiting at a stop light to go across, and sometimes you see them and its like, "why dont you look at a mirror?" In fact the other day a homeless guy was laughing at me and I could not resist and broke off laughing as well... Almost like, look whos laughing at who dork?
Anyway, enough of the rambling, has anybody else experienced such "horrendous" experiences?
Note: by the way the search n00b is priceless!

It's not the activity, clothes or you.
They know you drive a Miata.
Yeah, idiots yell at bicyclists all the time. 'Stop marring my paint', 'stop biting the lugs off my tires', 'Get off my hood'. It really gets annoying...
I must be the target in a real-life video game.

No, I run with a .38. My neighbor hood is decent, but I don't want the banditos from south of the border kidnapping me. Anyways, you see people running around my area all the time, one looks like ernest scared stupid. I personally only yell at bikes when they are blocking traffic. That pisses me off.

I have no problem with runners or bikers - I have a problem with bikers who ride 3 across, block an entire lane and don't move when it's a no passing zone and there are cars behind them.

I can't stand people that are too afraid to pass cyclist on 2-lane roads with oncoming traffic. Your lane is 11ft wide, there is a median that is 1.5 feet wide, that's 12 1/2 feet of roadway. Your giant SUV is 7 feet wide. That means you can give this 2foot wide bicycle 5 and a half feet of road width and still be in your lane. Don't be a wreckless ******* and do 55mph past him, but you don't have to idle behind him waiting for oncoming traffic to clear either, for god's sake.

Also, your law is flawed. It should state that a cyclist must allow enough room for the car to safely pass without departing the lane while maintaining a distance of at least 4 feet from the cyclist.
A good cyclist can easily maintain their tires in a 12 inch lane in fair weather barring a steep incline, if the cyclist needs more than 18 inches, they shouldn't be riding on public roads. Maybe we need a licensing examination that allows cyclists the use of highways.

Granted, it's retardedly irresponsible, dangerous and illegal but it was the end of a long, long day, and the last thing I needed was some stupid *** in his aerodynamic helmet and spandex shorts holding me up on a 55mph road where passing is impossible. Not to mention he flicked me off with no provocation and moved in front of me when I tried to pass legally and nicely.

I use to run cross country and track in high school and college. It was pretty rare that you could actually make out what someone was yelling so I resorted to just raising my hands in the air and yell/mumbling back at them. I figured if they could take it however they wanted. As long as people weren't throwing stuff it never really bothered me.

I don't have a problem with runners around here, but cyclists are a real problem. They find the need to only ride on the busiest of roads with high speed limits, and that have limited passing opportunities, putting themselves and others in danger. Especially when they ride in groups and take up half of the ******* lane. Go find some quieter back streets you ******* retards. I typically don't yell or thrown anything, but I make it known that I am not pleased by their presence by dropping it to the lowest gear possible and passing them WOT to redline. We have plenty of very nice back country roads with little or no traffic to cycle on, but they choose the main thoroughfares between major highways and cities. I have no sympathy for any of these idiots that end up dead.
