After having fun in the car and dropping money into it, I cannot get what they call a safety inspection out here, which is just actually a check if your car is modded, and tell you that you are fucked. So many people do so much retarded **** to their cars out here, and they get caught by the police, which ends up ******* all the slutty safety inspection places. I was just wondering if it was like that everywhere anymore?

Illinois just removed their inspections for 95 and older cars. Owning a turbo'd 91 civic and now a turbo'd 93 miata... can you guess that I'm happy?

Michigan has nothing like inspections either, at least in the western area bordering lake Michigan.

All we have in southern Louisiana is a basic inspection sticker. You know: horn, blinkers, lights, uncracked windshield. that's about it.

Spltime remember it was just the chicagoland area. I almost **** a brick when the other parts of the state run without CATs and such.

WI has emissions testing every 2 years in the counties surrounding Milwaukee. Also in those counties, any modification to the stock intake or emissions systems is illegal, including those K&N "50-state legal" intakes.

They only pop your hood if you don't pass the OBD scan ('96+ cars) or dyno/tailpipe sniffer test ('68-'95 cars).

You need a windshield? Tell them it's a quadracycle and you always wear your helmet with visor:gay:

They still look here in California, but if you have a CARB sticker you're pretty golden.

My buddy from school was telling me about how a friend of his worked at a shop that did inspections, so his friend would sell everyone inspection stickers for their modded cars. Forgot what state.. But this reminded me of it

Sam, did you hear that in 09, all of wisconsin is going to only sniffing 96+? Im sure you dont have emissions up by you anyways, but I have it down here so I cant wait.. No more lieing and telling them my car is stored up north!

Military has it's rewards.
I switched to Florida residency when I was in Flight School in Pensacola so I didn't have to pay any state income tax. Now all my vehicles get titled there. As long as I don't drive them there, NO NOTHING NADA is required. When I want to title a new car, I fill out the paperwork and send them a copy of the title. They issue me a new title and plates and all is good in the world.

No inspection or emissions in KY, unless you live in Northern KY (near Cincinnati)
