I was stupid and didnt read carefully.
Bruce to clarify, i had a 1.8 open assembly and bought a new LSD meatball to swap in. I had researched a bunch and decided to go with an RX7 clutch-type over the torsen. But I was overzealous and was focusing on the deal I was making and not the important details. So I ended up with an LSD for the RX7 turbo which is a 8" unit over the 7" miata rear.
No worries I should be able to pick up the correct LSD and sell this one off.

well i know that. I was just stupid and wasn't paying attention, I saw the model years, but wasn't looking to see if it was specified as a GSL or Turbo car, which it did specify.

Converting to a TII rear takes a bit of work, since it's 8" and doesn't bolt right up. Plus I think you need a custom driveshaft.
luckily i think I found another for the exact same price.
