Honestly if you looking for a boost in power, and too scared to install a real supercharger, you should just not mod things. If you are doing it just for fun then okay do whatever, "for science", is a legit excuse.

There are days when I think that all boring, FWD four-door sedans actually share a common platform and are produced on a single assembly line in Moldova. At the end of the line, they get shunted off into one of a number of final-branding stations, which applies the appropriate badge and steering wheel cover (Ford, Toyota, Kia, etc.)
