Oddly enough ,I don't get many ricers/beaners/wetback/hoods/idiots trying to run me. I've had occasional ricer rev next to me..to which i'll usually make sure they're looking when I laugh loudly and give them a thumbs down.

I've had more cars that are worth 2,3,4+ times my car play with me though...

new M6 (was a spectator sport on my end)

Elise (destroyed...poor guy was NOT expecting it)

I have been pulled on my a very nice EJ20 swapped GC8 coupe, a big turbo LS-VTEC EG hatch, and my friends GTO among a couple others.

 

Some Puerto Rican in a 323 GTX lined up in front of me on Sunday next to a Honda Prelude. I heard the 323 start farting all over the place and then the light went green and to my surprise the prelude stayed side by side and then started to pull on him. Then my fiance goes, "you're gonna blow both of them away, right?" I changed to the right lane and flew up the preludes ***, cut in front of the 323 in the left lane, and passed the prelude like it was standing still. I got back in the right lane and drove the speed limit. Like a mile ahead the 323 passes me and the dude never looked at me, just a "my 323 that I thought was fast, actually sucks ***" look on his face, and just kept driving. The 2 dudes in the prelude pull up next to me and give me a double thumbs up.

I ran a 06ish Mustang GT from a roll last week, we left a light real easy, I heard him shift into 2nd and stand on it. It was loud...really loud, like SLP 3" Loudmouth Loud. I floored it and I pulled 4 cars in him by the 1/4 mile mark. Then I let off and while he coasted past me his face said, "My life now sucks, cause I filled out a credit application for a mustang, just so I could be beaten by a Miata."

 

I know this guy, he's such a dick.

 

Just the other night I was in my girlfriends WRX driving behind my friend who was in my miata. A camaro SS pulls up to me in the WRX and starts trying to get me to play, I ignored him knowing that I'd get my *** handed to me in her car, he noticed the miata with the boost gauges and sped up to it.

Come to find out my friend can't drive worth ****, even so my miata ran dead even with the thing. At the light we found out the camaro had some overbored 454 and some other ****.. I was a little pissed because I'm sure I could have pulled on him if I were driving.

Usually I just flip off the pedestrians that yell *** at me... I'm going to start carrying around a bucket of water balloons filled with honey for them.

 

Try a paintball gun instead.

 

I've got one, actually a couple... "water balloons" are more covert if a cop happens to peak inside.

Plus isnt there some law about shooting people with paintball guns without their consent?

 

I've never had any miata try to race me...they are all usually old guys driven them. I'm usually the ******* that trys to play with them but they just look at me like im an idiot lol...
In the other hand noone ever called me a *** while i was driving, only my friends make fun of me cause im to big for my car...maybe just cause im a 220lbs juice head

 

I've had many v8s rev at me but not a lot of miatas. Half the time I can't even get them to make eye contact.

 

I once raced a 1.8 swapped 1.6 and pulled a bit, both of us were NA, I think I just knew how to shift.

I've raced my friend's RSTI many times knowing the result, its just fun to watch the flames as it passes me. I also once had my *** handed to me by an Acura suv...

For living in socal I'm amazed more ricers don't try to race me especially with my stupid loud exhaust.

Canyons are another story... I've chased down some serious machinery out there.

 

I beat up on a guy in an NB in my Jeep one night, it was kind of funny. And once tried to get an NC to play last summer with my previous Miata but it was the typical cheese and whiners.

 

I ran a friend who has a 1.6l FM Turbo Miata. It was the original FMII kit. He was running 13psi, with Link, and 6-spd swap. I got him by a car in 1st and then he missed 2d. Next run, he missed 3d, but I was so far out it wouldn't have mattered. I got him by 4-5 cars and was still pulling him. I was at 8 psi on my car.

 

He He..... I've run with Wagliardo when we changed the diffs and gears......
Pulled two lengths - he missed two shifts - and he then proceeds to walk right on by without a care. Late evening and no one around.....we weren't douchebaggering!

 

I stopped at Dunkin' Donuts a few weeks ago and the lot was filled with ricers. Some of them acted like I was there in a supercar. They were saying, "Oooh Mazdaspeed this, oooh Mazdaspeed that" ... whatever, all I wanted was a doughnut.

Granted, my car has plenty of mods to make it non-slow, but they didn't know that! They reacted to what they thought was an ordinary MSM. They probably figured the Absurdflow sound was just a catback.

 

Only miata that I've ever raced against was an MSM. I probably had 3 or 4 car lengths on him before he knew what was happening.

My all-time favorite ricer highway kill was the yellow Gallardo with the manual trans. I always "give them the punch" and suck them in but this dude looked so hurt when I asked him "want me to drop it down into 4th this time, or just run it in 5th again?"

 

I have this app for my iphone called "cool facts" and it's just that, a bunch of random facts to flip through when you're bored. One of them is the world record for the smallest *****, 5/8". This wouldn't happen to be you, would it?
