even though that video is old as ****, I love it. If you've never seen / heard an F1 car in person, you should before you die. I went to the european gran prix a long *** time ago. The noises that come from these cars is ******* crazy, and you never realize how fast they are until you see them run around the track in person.

When I was a kid, my brother brought me to the USGP at Watkins Glen. It was my first race and only GP. It was just incredible - like the laws of physics didn't exist. And those cars were slugs compared to current ones. Mmmm.....800 hp. 20,000 RPM.

the honda v10 supposedly made the most power in the v10 generation at just over 800hp.

i rmember going to the detroit grand prix when it was f1 and downtown. we were crossing over one of those wooder pedestrian bridges over the track on one of the straights. at the midpoint a pair of cars came by. i'll never forget the sound nor the concussion of air as they passed beneath my feet. i was probably 11 or 12 and have been hooked ever since.

I think the V10s were up closer to 900-950hp, and the V8s are now rev-limited to (only) 19000 rpm.

Back in the Turbo days, qualifying trim was around 1200, race trim was about a grand. On 4 cylinders
