Exactly why it wasn't insured. With dough saved I can buy another one. The stuff that had the greatest value isn't damaged... like the cooper scooper

Good lord that's horrible. I wonder what it would have looked like if you had a roll bar on that thing. Would have been an interesting test.

I don't think the roll bar would've done anything- maybe shove the main hoop foot through the floor.

That 240 is an example of how it could've been worse - I wouldn't be able to start the car up and move it, and I would have lost my trans and 3" exhaust with metal cat.

Damn Y8s - that came from the depths of the archive.

Mr. Cupcar,
What county do you live in? If your county is declared in the storm then you can call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) and possibly get monies for the uncovered damage.

What county do you live in? I'll handle up on your lightwork.

I think he'd need a Voodoo Priest for this car to be salvageable in whole. You saw the pictures right?

There is two voodoo priest and one witch doctor locally that at a later date plan to resurrect as much of the dead miata that can be.

I'm in Dekalb county and from the looks of things around here I didn't get the worst of it. Sad day for some houses.

The Miata started right up and I drove it up the driveway and parked it under the deck. But it's seriously bent - I think it's about 2" closer to the ground in the left rear. Nothing I can fix with the some coilover adjustment though.

All three cars started up and ran - and if you could get to the steering wheels and pedals they might have been drivable - and no flat tires.

I'm not doing a burnout- I might hit one of the logs and dent it.

Man, sorry to have to be reading this, but count your blessings that your house and family are fine other than the slight emotional attachment you have to the cars.

There was all these downed trees after these storms came through.

Down south, all the trees are evolved to survive storms like it ain't nothing, I saw fewer downed trees after a direct hit from a cat 3 hurricane.

These oaks just don't have the backbone.
