Sheesh, 35? I'm 5'9" and 205, and I consider myself a porker. That's a 30.3, for those counting.

Do you have to wear lead shoes, or wear a harness with a tie off when walking outside in breezy conditions? String bean

"BMI" is a useless metric for measuring body fat. It does not take into account the idea that weight does not equal fat.

Use a body fat percentage calculation instead.

My BMI: 25.0

My body fat percentage: 10.9%

Body fat percentage calculator: http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/librar...calculator.htm

That link is garbage...

Anyhow 166lb here 5'7" and 7.6% BMI - Tested per skin fold method.
but the 2nd link is showing me to be at 26%... Simply that doesnt take anything into account such as muscle.

I might be 5'7", I just say 5'8" when people ask. I'm not lanky, but I don't have a lot of fat.

I was 135 when i started working out.. i'm sure i was no where 20 bmi... To be at 20 you gotta be a complete couch potato that doesnt lift a finger and drives around in a little cart otherwise you'd have too much muscle in your legs.
