Jesus level 95 is impossible. The trick is to make a long bottleneck and put lasers behind it, because lasers can shoot through more than one tank. I also like to put a flamethrower at the front of the bottleneck because it creates lots of spread damage where all the troops come together. You only need like 2 upgraded flac cannons against aerial for like 60 levels.

Endgame usually comes from the air. Historically, I'd been relying on flak guns, but I've found that remotely placed SAMs make a hell of a good first-line defense. Place them for maximum coverage, and each one can usually get two or three shots off per strike.

Still, the increased AA budget cost me in ground coverage. The aircraft still got me this time, but as you can see, my ground defense was just moments away from being breeched when it happened.

I tried using plasma cannon, but I found that they tended to get confused and spend a lot of time cycling between air and ground targets. Seems that placing flamethrowers in a run-the-gauntlet configuration is working the best so far. It's important to prevent the enemy from ever being able to drive in a straight (or straight diagonal) line. Place your structures (including standalone wall blocks) to force them to make constant left-right turns. Slows 'em down considerably.


Damn, this game is addictive. And yet horribly frustrating. In the end, you always lose.

 

Borrrererered. I'm starting to use more flamethrowers - lasers are just too hard to control. I'm going to build a map with only heavy cannons and see how that goes.
