Actually you have that backwards. Toyota builds their own xB and GM is partnered with Daewoo.

Yea... it's called playing catchup. Domestics are rushing to catch up to most imports because they finally realized that just having a car with a big engine isn't enough anymore... people want a car that's going to last a few years without breaking all the time and some cheap ass interior too. Look at hyundai and kia. Two car makers with pretty bad reps and over the last 8 years or so they've skyrocketed and become two(well one since hyundai bought kia) of the highest selling and most well built cars(in the price ranges) available.

My bad, it is actually a DAIHATSU MATERIA. They are all over Italy.

Correction, its an identical sister car. Freaked me out to see that badge on them.

I agree 100%, but at least its a nice trend.
