"100% tax deduction above the price of the car."

Not a bad deal for a rich car lover.

You sure about that? I think we'll be paying 2-300K for compact cars in this lifetime. That particular vette will bring in well over 5-6mil 40-50 years from now.

Too much ricer **** on the ZR1. $40,000 paint for the carbon fiber roof???? Give me a ****** break. A plastic "window" in the hood so you can see the top of the SC???? What a pos. An 08 Viper ACR will tear that crumby Chevy a new ******* for 30K less.
Only pussies that can't drive need TC, stability control and all the other nanny tech. I bet the new Vette has some nice cupholders though. Oh and BTW it's not even a vert.

Because.. you know... the vipers have been so dominate in T1 over the last 8 years.

I didn't watch the entire video, did the extra money go to a charity? If not, it isn't tax deductible? Just because you pay more than retail, does not make it tax deductible.

The money for it did go to charity. I thought it was pretty cool, what with Leno doing the talk about it. I'm surprised he didn't go for it...bet he's got his name on #2, though!
I'd bet that car's value will increase in the same way that Corvette's of the past have. The really special ones, like '69-'72 C3s with 427s/454s with all the options, numbers matching, etc. are worth obscene amounts of money today relative to their original cost.
