It's still under development. They're working on adding Rockingham to the list, aswell as the new VW Scirocco. Patches and updates are being added still.

live for speed is great. Only problem is its like a 3 man dev team, so shit takes foreverrrrrr. Still the best sim out there tho

I really want a Force Dynamics 301 in my room.
|
I miss having a wheel setup. Mine broke mysteriously between uses but it wasn't as nice as OP's.
They definitely make racing games easier / more intuitive, though not as fun with COD. Edit: Oops accidental necro |
Byrce necro'd it before you ^ :p
I'm still loving the setup. Starcraft and COD have been owning my time lately though. I only play to motivate myself to work on my car. |

Holy shit
$45000 though? I need a better job... On the other hand for $45000 I can buy a fast car and just track it anyways... |

I love the way you can indiscriminately kill the city guards and they can do nothing to stop you, though their attempts are funny (reminiscent of a GTA rampage). Now back to renoing my new basement entertainment haven. |
AC2 was awesome. I loved jumping off roofs and planting the blades into a gaurds face.
I did get bored and attempted to kill off all of florence. I did the same thing in AC1 and killed off as many people i could in jerusalem. I felt like hitler killing all those jews. |
Hey now, the 301 is only 25,000. Plus, it only weighs 700 lbs.
You can DIY your own using power window motors functioning as servos, but they aren't nearly as fast as the ball/screw actuators used in the commercial models. I just received a second 911 Turbo S wheel in the mail. My original one has some dead spots where the buttons on the wheel don't work. Coolest part is I get to keep the original one (who wants to pay for shipping back to Germany?) so I can have a friend race too, minus pedals for them. |
^all that work and such a small monitor??? lol
|
More resolution and contrast than a projector = win. Also, that rig was built 3 or 4 years ago. I was seriously looking into this yesterday, but the slower response time of the power window motors killed it for me.
|
I wonder if there is something better than a power window motor, but not super expensive. Some sort of middle ground. That would be a fun project.
|
If one can be built for a few hundred bucks, I would actually mount my 42" 1080i on it. I would play that more than playing SC2
|
I think they said a basic one can be built for around $1000 and takes around a month. Not a bad price at all.
|
it's a shame that the site for the info is down. does anyone have a DIY link or download? all the stuff I've found for the thanos is outdated by 3 years or so.
