It's all explained in a Powerpoint presentation that's running on a projector in the conference room of one of the offices that you encounter in the second half.

Shifting gears:

I will never play another Valve game because of their overbearing and intrusive Steam DRM.

Your mother didn't seem to mind.

Honestly though, I'm glad you were able to give me this insight. Apart from Win7, I haven't bought a piece of PC software in close to 20 years, and I was actually thinking about signing onto Steam. But the thought that I might have to face a minor inconvenience in exchange for instant and unlimited access to the entire Half-Life anthology for less than the price of a singe PS3 game just nixes that deal.

Read this thread again and I still have absolutely no idea what any of you are talking about.

Wow, I made my first post in this thread from my Blackberry. The Youtube videos don't show on it. That was purely coincidental awesomeness.

I extracted the cheesy little radio version of Still Alive (from the beginning of the game) and used that as my ringtone for a few months.

AOE FTW. I still play Red Alert too. Something about the way people scream in that game when they get hit by the Tesla coil is incredibly satisfying.
