It's truly shocking what comes up when you Google "Rule 34" +Portal.
(I've also hit our corporate content filter so many times in the last 10 minutes that I expect a contingent from IT security to show up any moment now.)

I guess we are missing the fuel line de-icer link Joe....You are posting pics of portal...I dont get the connection/joke....the rule says that if it exists there must be ****. It does not say, if there is analogy of it there must be ****. You must post pics of actual fuel line deicer in order to not break the rules. The rules demand it!

Ok, you're actually making me feel better, as I'm clearly not the only one who missed out on the initial wave of popularity here.
In the game, it is revealed that GLaDOS was originally designed as a fuel line de-icer, in an attempt to win a government contract way from Black Mesa. The part about it also being a sentient operating system was sort of secondary. (It's supposed to be ironic and illogical.)
Hence the title of this thread.
