Lately I've realized that I'm getting older and I need to think of the future, rather than just today. I only used to live in the moment and hardly thought ahead about anything.

My life now is a bit more boring than it used to be, but I'm ok with that. I have no need to go longboarding every night down hills like I have a deathwish. I dont go out and get shitfaced only to drive home and wonder how and the hell I got back. Going to bars and getting into fights or destroying something. Etc, etc.

My friends band is playing downtown tonight with another band I used to go see all the time, but I dont even plan on going. 2 years ago I would have gone with a bottle of jack and a joint, had like 10 beers, then proceed to get in the mosh pit. Now I just dont have any care in the world about that ****.

I think getting older when your still in your 20's is a good thing. Once you break 30 anything over that is just 1 more year closer to death. Just kidding you old *****. lol

I'm in probably the top 10% of the age group on here. Age is a state of mind. Sure your body can't always keep up, but you can usually use experience to get around that. It helps that I have a job where I am away from home 6 months of the year, living in two worlds means you only age twice as fast. Of course it also means you are away from your family and cars for the same period.
