you don't pay a deductable if you hit someone else and they make a claim against you. only if claiming comprehensive against yourself.

 

As far as going through your insurance, you'd be a ******* nutter to do that. It won't cost more than what your deducible would in the beginning, but you'll be paying for it down the road. I would avoid going through your insurance company unless you're poor and want to stay poor.

I can't defend female drivers in big diesel trucks in florida.

 

Women break their mens cars. It is just a fact. See it as part of the woman-package you buy into and nothing to question. My GF scraped my Miatas wheels and front spolier, bumped our old Volvo into stuff and drove my former car into the garage door. But the worst one: She scraped the side of my BMW less then 2 weeks after I bought it. Damages are actually still there now, 4 years later.

So, be a man about it: Fix it or ignore it, but don't be angry at her, don't ever ask her to pay for it and don't mention it to her again. If she is a real woman she will know how to make it up to you.

 

She did it on purpose since you love the car more than her.
