Default Give me suspension suggestions for my NC!

So the '13 Mustang GT is gone and in it's place for DD duties is an '06 Grand Touring with the sport package.

As is well known, the damping sucks and I don't care for the 4x4 ride height. The car is my DD and might see an occasional Auto-X, but won't see any track work like the NA.

Any reason to not just go with the FM setup? Their springs/sways and Tokico HTS. I've also seen the Progress/Koni Yellow setup get decent reviews with RX-8 sways?

I'll likely go to 17x8s and 235/40s as well. Can't see the point rolling the fenders flat (don't want to do it myself after the way I murdered the paint on the NA) to run 17x9 and 255 if I'm not going to be running STR frequently.

Suggestions?

Go to miata.net for more opinions on the NC. For budget setup, seems like they will say koni/progress.

I got a sweet deal on a used set of Ohlins, will be installing as soon as I am off of school, can't go wrong with the Ohlins.

Yeah, I figured. Just thought I'd see if anyone was an NA/NC owner like me.

I asked on GRM. And they confirmed my bias toward the FM setup.

A lot of the springs have very low published spring rates, which doesn't make me confident I won't be on the bumpstops all the time.
